Less than 50 steps from the beach, a few more to a little shop where you can buy toiletries, snacks, drinks, and there are plenty of food choices within minutes. The room and bathroom are lovely and everything works. The little space outside the door is big enough for a deckchair (provided) and a small table. If you're lucky you might see a humming bird while you're lounging under the frangipani tree. Geckos and squirrels hang around too. Little touches like the provision of an umbrella, a beach mat and a broom to sweep your little patio are nice. Michel and Poon are genuinely lovely and so eager to make you feel welcome, Poon's cooking (Thai breakfast) is amazing and Kan the housekeeper is a gem. I hired a decent bike from them too and did a fair bit of cycling around the beautiful area before I stupidly veered off the road while admiring the scenery. Kan looked after me while my ankle healed and I got to hang out for some more time at this amazing little spot. Don't miss the Saturday night market on the beach (where you can even hug a buffalo) and definitely do all there is to do round about. I would go back in a minute - thanks Kan, Poon and Michel!

The room was spacious with your own terrace, they have gym set up and they can take you for paddleboard tour and you can take a bike to go around! Near the ocean, at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by jungle and a coconut plantation, the two hosts Mook and Rick have set up a resort and dog shelter which ticked all the boxes for me. The place is lush and tranquil, and the dogs are well cared for and living their best lives. My bungalow was spacious and spotless with a modern A/C and a refrigerator with cold water. The food is as authentic as can be, cooked up by Thai native Mook, while you chat and enjoy a cold drink at the bar. I cannot overstate how great these dishes were. Fresh, varied and unbelievably tasty. The hosts themselves made every effort to engage and make my stay comfortable. They're friendly and funny, with strange and interesting stories to tell. Rick caught me driving off with a flat tire. Not only did he change the tire to a spare but arranged for the flat one to be fixed at the local mechanic the same day. Thanks buddy. If you are a dog person, this is where you go. If you are not, I'd recommend alternatives. I stayed 3 nights as a solo traveler, looking for a peaceful place to read my books. I found what I was looking for and much more.

The place felt like a home, very cozy. The bed is so comfortable, the facilities made us feel like staying a home, the 2 dogs are so friendly, they came to us everyday. They like us to pet and we really like them. The owner was so kind. We will come again for sure
