The MOST warm and welcoming people at the front desks. Everyone here seems to tend to be more polite and nicer to each other because the hosts are so friendly. Room is spacious, simple, and clean.

We really couldn’t fault this place. We had the warmest of welcomes from a really lovely, friendly team of people. Edward in particular made us feel like we were the king and queen!! Facilities, comfort, breakfast, location ….. everything was spot-on. If we hadn’t had a flight to catch, we would’ve stayed longer

Simple but very comfortable place. The room looked newly renovated, it was clean and very spacious, equipped with all the usual amenities of US hotels (etc. coffee, microwave, fridge) and it even came with a seaview. The place was ideally located for excursions: the beautiful William Randolf Hearst Memorial State Beach is just a few minutes away by car, the beach packed with elephant seals is no more than a 15-minute drive. I did not visit Hearst Castle but it's also reachable within minutes. At barely above 100 bucks, it was great value for money.
