Wonderful place. We planned 2 nights and ended up staying a week. Mr. Nam was most helpful, his wife Kay cooked amazing food for us every night - everything fresh and local (I eat everything, but was asked about special dietary needs right away). Language = not a problem, Mr. Nam's English is fluent. We went swimming in this beautiful lake - Mr. Nam took us out on it with his boat - for the faint of heart: warm, sweet water ❤️ We also enjoyed the home's pool and took many walks in the surrounding nature. This is a peaceful, tranquil place - as an artist, I was able to return to creating after a long creative drought. The family is incredibly friendly, our private room with AC was clean and spacious. Had I been able to ride a moped, No doubt I could have borrowed one here. Highly recommend this place if you want authenticity AND a chill vibe. Leaving with a laughing and a crying eye, planning to come back ⭐🙏⭐

This is a great stop if you would like to break up your travel from Hanoi to Ha Giang. The facilities are clean, very important to me, and the location is a perfect halfway between cities. Family members are well versed in a few languages making communication very easy. Please take part in the family dinner offered. The hosts are super helpful and nice. There is a working air conditioning in the private room. The bed is comfortable and big enough to accommodate two people. We would recommend to go on the boat trip and enjoy the private beach. It's definitely worth it!

I arrived in the early evening, and booked just a few minutes before. The staff (owner’s dad and aunt, I believe) were immediately accommodating and helpful. They took me to my room, which is a shared room(?) but I was just by myself, and offered food and breakfast for the next day. The facility is new and under more development. There’s a lot of green, which I think would be extra lovely once done up. I have told my mom about this, and would definitely return!
