Breakfast was lovely. Very enjoyable. We took up a transfer option from the Airport with the host which was a good idea since our flight arrived late. Great communication at all times.The room also perfect and a beautifully kept and presented property. Wish l was staying longer. Such a friendly welcoming host. We loved our stay. The lodge recently changed owners, but has kept on much of the staff and is very recognizable to anyone having stayed there before. The location is extremely peaceful and serene, yet just a few minutes drive from the excellent Casterbridge lifestyle center, with all its charming shops and eateries. The staff is lovely and made us feel right at home. There is no playground, but the lush grounds offer plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. Our kids really loved sleeping in a bunk bed in a family room as well. We did not have dinner on-site, but we very much enjoyed the yummy hot breakfast options. We will definitely be coming back.
