Beautiful grounds with some nice hikes and good views right on the property. Really enjoyed Mike's Bar - a large barn with couches, wifi, TV, pool tables, foosball and ping pong.Did the Salt and Pepper hike - terrific views along the way.

We stayed 3 nights at the bushman lodge with our two daughters, age 2 and 4. In the five weeks we’ve travelled the country, this accommodation was high in our top 3. It’s remote, but it’s spacious rooms and balcony with jacuzzi, the tranquillity of nature, the views, delicious food, etc, the whole family loved it. Granny Smith Cottage is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The host, Erika, was amazingly attentive and even let us come along to help with the cows! The property is very rural, so do expect an interesting drive along the unmade road. Himeville and Underberg (for shopping) are both conveniently nearby.

What an incredible place to stay - I LOVED it! The team behind the cottage - Georgia, Steve and the farm manager, Madison - were all exceptional. Friendly, helpful and prompt to reply. The cottage itself exceeded all my expectations - it was beautiful, had all I needed, super comfy and clean too. I couldn't bear to leave. The location is just amazing!
