Plenty of plug points with universal inputs to charge electronics conveniently Mozzie spray provided Nice small balcony in the shade of a beautiful tree to sit outside, a comfortable lounge inside so plenty of places to relax. Just an all round fantastic stay, the likes of which I have not had in a very long time in Zimbabwe.

What a fabulous place! A large property with plenty of trees, plants and flowers scattered in a beautifully-tended park where you can walk and relax any time of the day. The central building is architecturally inspiring and stylishly furnished: it is the heart of the property with a comfortable dining room and a lovely bar where you can meet other guests, chat over a drink and enjoy delicious, well-prepared food. Our room was large, with a pleasant terrace, spotless clean and most comfortable, offering all the amenities we are used to at home. Indeed, we immediately felt at home, in a friendly environment going far, far beyond our expectations. The great secret of The Musketeers Lodge is that it has a vibrant soul: Liz and her staff were just fantastic, all so helpful and ready to go the extra mile to meet your expectations. Staying at The Musketeers Lodge and meeting you all was a true blessing and we'll never thank you enough for this. Thanks also, Liz, for the lift into the city, your always instructive, delightful company and precious contribution - with Tendayi and Godfrey - to our trip to Great Zimbabwe, Serima Mission and the Italian Chapel of Saint Francis of Assisi in Masvingo. The staff were just so wonderful and kind. The building and it's furniture is fantastic, I loved looking around it, it's like a museum. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot. Breakfast was great. Location perfect!

The host Mabel was like a mother I never had . Very good interaction and just like my wife a great cook , would highly recommend this place . The grounds and house is spotless and would gladly come again and again . Guys if you are going to Bulawayo stay here

From check in to check out the service was amazing. Only a few bit that could be better (listed below). Abigirl checked us in she was so attentive and very welcoming. Jeff who did night shifts showed me around all the amenities. Inno the chef always made outstanding meals and took dietary requirements seriously . Food was amazing and very tasty (breakfast) . Given was an amazing assistant in serving breakfast . Always on his feet running in order to provide a quick service . Nonhlanhla also very polite . Even offered to take pictures for me and mum in the garden.

    It holds a nice garden and parking is safe. The staff was really nice. We had a flat tire and they pumped it for us so we could get to the workshop. Staff defo the best thing about the place.

    I loved the vintage décor, It seemed that, at any moment, Lord Greystock himself would enter the sallon. The staff were absolutelly friendly, helpfull and efficient. And there was secure parking for my motorcycle.

    This place is a piece of working history. It's charming, interesting, has the best staff and lots of quirky touches. The beds and linens were excellent, a lovely courtyard eating area and very secure parking accessed via a gated lane. It is very central and we were able to walk around Bulawayo. The food was excellent, the bar costs very reasonable , all in all a 10 out of 10 and I would stay here again if back in Bulawayo.
