She helped us to make reservations for many attractions. Also she always been in touch with us, provided information about interesting spots, food places, tickets etc. Big bonus - Kate can speak English very well. Kate’s mom had cooked breakfast and lunch for us and it was really amazing, I literally felt in love with simple homemade Chinese food thanks to her 😍 Location is very good. Very quiet at night. And the same time just few steps away from ferry, then a couple of minutes by boat and you are in the middle of hustle and bustle West Street. Guest house itself is very nice, reception is interesting decorated. Washing machine and free detergent are available on the roof top. Free water bottles at the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are big. We had balcony room and the river view was great. So, I definitely can recommend to book this place. You will never regret for sure. Thank you again Kate! You can order food and sit out on the outside eating area right next to the lake, and it’s such a vibe! They play music and have lanterns and a couple of cats for some snuggles. The dumplings were so so tasty, and the chicken we ordered was one of the best things we’ve had in China! We booked a tour of Ruyi peak through the hostel and David made sure everything was sorted for us. Him and his family made it feel like home; the room was nice and the bed was so comfy! The aircon was a nice change from the street temperature and the basic amenities worked a treat for us as we didn’t need much.
