Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Just 300 meters from the park, our hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and breakfast included, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly, always had time to chat and talk about the area, show animals they had spotted on the property. We saw the sloth that lives in the trees near the entrance, iguanas, frogs. The gardens at the hotel are an array of colours full of unusual plants and birds. The accomadation was very comfortable, large bed big bathroom. There was a place to sit outside at the end of the day to relax and remember the activities of the day and plan the day ahead. The pool was great when u returned after a day trip. Breakfast was included and it was a great start to the day. Selection of items available, fruit, eggs, pancakes with bacon. All was wonderful

Free parking is provided at the hotel. The location is fantastic in town . Off busy street but close to center. The free buffet breakfast was great and although the same every day it offered many choices. Room was comfortable & clean. Great hot water pressure in shower.There is a roof top viewing area where you get a great view of Arenal Volcano. Great helpful friendly staff! It was an added bonus to get into Volcano Hot Springs! It’s a 15min drive from town.

Beautiful lodge with amazing views of the Volcano and lake. Lots of hiking trails and birds. Rooms were good and the resort is well maintained.

I’d stay again in a heartbeat. The pictures don’t do it justice (the rooms are actually nicer than depicted on some of the photos!). They made our stay extra special by bringing treats to celebrate my mom’s birthday and Mother’s Day. We so much appreciate all the kindness and these sweet little gestures.

The hot pools were amazing! The different temperatures of the pools was very relaxing after a long day. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a nice private patio out back looking into a great garden.
