It was a comfortable and very clean house with two kingsize beds which were of great quality. The patio was large and had a view over the meadows in which horses were present. A hummingbird regularly visited us, sitting on the hammock.

The hotel was situated in a quiet area of town, but was still super close to all the restaurants, bars and attractions. Staff were incredibly helpful and organised a taxi for us from the airport and to the waterfall one day. The room was big and clean with good air con. The outside area was also lovely, with an amazing view and the gardens are super pretty - attracting lots of birds - a highlight for us was seeing the hummingbird from the breakfast table every day - we loved it!

Absolutely amazing place. This was the best accomodation we had in Costa Rica. Nice, clean room surrounded by beautiful garden. The garden is full of beautiful, colourful flowers, bushes, trees and the peacocks complement it all perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love it, love it, love it here.

The views were fantastic, Arenal volcano is intimidating ( as it is very close to the resort) but mesmerising. The bird life is abundant and the Coatis walk around ignoring people just doing their own things (which is as it should be) The breakfast was fantastic. The road to the resort is a dirt road and could be rough. there are no lights at night ,hence be careful when venturing out at night.However if you have a good car and consider the road conditions it can be easily done with an SUV or a constant 4WD. I will recommend a big car but not necessarily 4x4. As the resort is very isolated the only place to have dinner is the restaurant which was expensive. However with a good car you can venture into the small local towns an have a multitude of choices.( alway ask the staff about eating choices you will get good information from them ).Hence that is one of the reasons I will recommend an SUV. As the resort is so vast you could stay there without going anywhere else and honestly say you know Cost Rica. The waterfall within the property was breathtaking, you get to it via a beautiful walk via the forest. There are 2 suspending bridges, lots of well marked walks and the births are. amazing.

A beautiful property that exceeded our expectations. Value for money. Spacious and well cared for. We drove to the look out point which was worth it (not sure walking in the heat would be worth it.) Very good selection at breakfast.

Breakfast was exceptionally good. The food at the restaurant was also good and affordable. The hot springs are in good condition and surrounded by nature. The restaurant and pool have a nice view of the volcano, but not from the room though.
