Exceptional modern stylish hostel set on a quiet backstreet 5 minutes walk from the centre and the beach. There is a good supermarket right there to get all your food to cook in the beautiful kitchen surroundings. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff work very hard to keep it that way, and they were all very friendly and helpful to us. Would definitely recommend staying here 😊

Το La Bonita Lodge είναι σε Puerto Viejo, σε απόσταση 1,3 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Playa Negra και προσφέρει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κήπο και... Everything! Beautifully designed, new bungalows in the middle of a tranquil oasis of a garden with delightful pool. Also with private outdoor shower! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some other travellers mentioned it was far from the center but it wasn’t an issue for me, I walked every day and it was about 35 minutes along the beach. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in a beautiful hotel in the middle of nature and have a great night’s sleep while being close to Puerto Viejo.

Beautiful small boutique hotel in the heart of Puerto Viejo, excellent location, walking distance from the main restaurants in downtown PV. Decoration, and room details superb. The bedding and pillows very comfortable as well. The breakfast delicious as well.

We loved staying in Smile Jungle Hostel, from the first minute to the last. Gonzalo is an amazing host and this was our favourite accommodation in Central America. You feel right at home because everything you could possibly need is available and Gonzalo is always so warm and positive. Bonus points for su madre and for showing us our first sloth! 😊 Gracias por todo!

Beach area was nice to sit and relax. We had everything we needed in our room. Pool was nice place to end our days and visit with others. Plenty of towels for pool or beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good everyday and so nice to have it brought to our sitting area.

This place is fantastic! Highly recommend it. Sylvio is a great host, and very attentive. The pool was ideal with our kids 5+9 years. Good to know that the restaurant is temporarily closed but will open again in a couple of months. This was no issue for us, as we enjoyed the communal kitchen very much!

Το Siquirres Mountain Lodge παρέχει καταλύματα σε Siquirres με θέα στο βουνό και προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο, βεράντα και μπαρ. We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄
