I was welcomed by the friendly daughter Anelka of the owner . 2 rooms and one living room kitchen. All very clean and modern. In each room one double and one single bed very comfortable, air condition, ventilator. The bathroom is large. Hot shower. Toiletries. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.

Breakfast was always delicious and the chocolate is the best I’ve ever had ☺️ The property is beautiful and maintained with love and devotion to the jungle, the wildlife there and nature. Fernando is very knowledgeable and always open to sharing information about the fauna and flora and wildlife. We loved our stay there.

While I only had the chance to stay one night at the Los Cielos del Caribe hotel in Cahuita, Limon, it was a stay I truly enjoyed and won’t soon forget. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the owner and host, Tristam, made the stay all that much better. Situated on a hill in a lovely town, this hotel is a newer build with quality in mind. My 2-story room with king size bed was perfect – the AC worked great, the bed and linens were luxurious, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the view was just unbeatable. Plus, if you are a fan of nature, the location doesn’t get any better. There is a path to walk up to a lookout point at the top of the hill where you can enjoy a morning coffee while listening and watching the groups of howler monkeys – much closer here than anywhere else I visited. On the path you’ll find cool anoles and dart frogs and sloths too if you are good at spotting them in the trees. The pool and hot tub were amazing and there was a deck with a grill for afternoon cookouts. There are only a few rooms for rent, so you kind of feel a bit like family while you’re there. Tris made me a delicious breakfast with white guava juice and even added maraschino cherries to my beautifully sliced banana – a pure delight! He was also very helpful with my luggage because the hill is quite steep – and just really the nicest host I’ve encountered in a very long time. You can tell he loves this place and sharing it with guests – and rightfully so because it's simply a slice of heaven on earth. If you get the chance, definitely make Los Cielos a part of your Costa Rican adventure!

Το Playa Negra Guesthouse βρίσκεται στην Cahuita, ακριβώς μπροστά στην παραλία. Όλες οι μονάδες διαθέτουν καθιστικό. Ορισμένες έχουν βεράντα ή/και μπαλκόνι με θέα στην πισίνα ή τον κήπο. The owner was super friendly. The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

Το New Caribe Point βρίσκεται στο Cahuita της Περιφέρειας Λιμών και προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα και εγκαταστάσεις θαλάσσιων σπορ. Το Puerto Viejo απέχει 14 χιλιόμετρα. We got to stay in the upper unit where we could watch monkeys just a few meters away, the room ia very spacious as is the bathroom, mosquito nets everywhere, breakfast was delicious and the host is very lovely and helpful. 5min to the beach and they also have bicycles for use. Definitely recommend!

Το Passion Fruit Lodge βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 5χλμ. από το Cahuita στην περιοχή Limon και 18χλμ. από το Puerto Viejo. Προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα και θέα στον τροπικό κήπο. Το Cocles απέχει 20χλμ. Owers ale very nice people, bery helpful, answering all the questions and giving some tips what to visit and how to do it. The place it self is magnificent!

Σε απόσταση 80μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Negra, το Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House προσφέρει κήπο, βεράντα και καταλύματα με μπαλκόνι και δωρεάν WiFi. Όμορφο, καθαρό και ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο. Οι οικοδεσπότες πολυ ευγενικοί και με διάθεση να μας βοηθήσουν σε ο,τι χρειαστηκαμε. Το πρωινό το πιο ωραίο που φάγαμε σε οποιοδήποτε δωμάτιο ή ξενοδοχείο στην Κόστα Ρίκα.

Το La Rana De Cahuita απέχει 5χλμ. από το κέντρο της Cahuita και προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα που λειτουργεί όλο το χρόνο και τροπικό κήπο. Το Puerto Viejo απέχει 18χλμ. από το κατάλυμα. This place - one word: AMAZING! Right in the jungle, many monkeys around, is just spectacular! The garden is simply amazing and the owners very friendly and responsive! The swimming pool was perfect after a long day exploring the area. You probably need a car, so 5min drive to restaurants and supermarket and 10min to Cahuita National Park. I’ll get back 100%, my kids were in love!
