Bahariya is worthy to visit, and specifically Safari Camp is one of the best experiences I have had in Egypt. The guides and all the staff were so nice, but the most important thing: PROFESSIONAL. They had everything ready and everything was clear: no long delays, no extra charges, no scam by anyone there, but a family. I enjoyed a lot spending Christmas with them and all my group, but again, it is not just about an experience with nice people, but an experience being managed by PROFESSIONAL and RELIABLE people.

The hotel is in the city of Bawiti, in the oasi of Baharya, very good for a trip into Black and White desert! The hotel manager Kareem help ed us to organize all the transportations (from and to Cairo) and desert tour for a convenient price and gave us very good meals (even if the food was too much for us). Kareem and the staff were very willing to help us. Our stay was great and the desert is amazing!! the icing on the cake the fruit in the room!!

Mohamed is happy to receive guests and it show. He is ready to help and ensure all is fine. He speaks English perfectly. We went for a sunset view trip then a night hotsprings visit. All along great fun talking with him. His diner cooking was delicious.

Perfect to relax the spirit. We enjoyed our stay amidst the beautiful palm trees, at night the sky is like a blanket of stars. The food was excellent, real Egyptian. Higly recommend doing tours with Ahmed: he has a passion for his region and is very understanding of guests needs.

You can order a transfer from Cairo to the hotel or get yourself. Good internet in the main building, comfortable rooms (the room has air conditioning, a refrigerator, there was no hair dryer, but we didn’t need it). Great friendly staff, helpful in every way. Excellent homemade dinner and simple breakfast. Contacted the hotel in advance to discuss a trip to the desert, sent full information with the cost.
