Katri had booked us a table for Christmas Eve dinner which was lovely and took us there. The room was bigger than we thought and were able to leave our luggage in the hallway by the door. We had breakfast delivered both mornings and it was great. The bed was big and comfortable, the sauna was nice. Juuso was very helpful picking us up and taking us into town. The jacuzzi was amazing!! We were able to leave our bags at reception when we checked out and Juuso brought them into the village for us a few hours later and then took us to the airport for an extra fee. We didn’t see northern lights but a winter snow Christmas was unforgettable! There was also Netflix, Disney plus on the TV.

If I want to get away from noisy everyday life, I would definitely come here! It is located in a wonderful environment, equipped with everything, a clean, spacious cottage, from the terrace of which I can watch the reindeer. I recommend it wholeheartedly 🥰, it is comfortably enough for up to 4 people.

Aurora Queen Resort Igloos bevindt zich in Saariselkä en biedt een bar. Het resort met 5 sterren biedt een fitnesscentrum en heeft kamers met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, en een eigen badkamer. We have a great time there thanks to the owner Nina and her husband, they have effectively arranged everything as we like, we feel warmly welcomed and the resort is upscale, comfortable and home feeling for vacation

Deze accommodatie wordt omgeven door bergen en een panoramisch uitzicht, en biedt accommodatie met eigen kookgelegenheid, gratis WiFi, een sauna en een terras. Super mooie locatie met uitzicht op de vallei en de kids konden hun lol op met de sleetjes. Jammer genoeg was het gedurende onze week bewolkt en mistig, daardoor geen noorderlicht gezien bij het huisje. De excursies (rendier, husky en auroratour) met Husky&Co zijn goed verzorgd en een hele belevenis. Toen noorderlicht in volle glorie gezien 😀

Located on top of Kaunispää Fell, Star Arctic Hotel & Activities is situated in Saariselka in the Finnish Lapland Region. It was an amazing experience. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great to observe northern lights. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was a very good choise for us :)

Het Aurora Village Ivalo ligt in Ivalo en biedt hutten met een glazen dak, zodat je 's nachts vanuit je bed naar de sterren kunt kijken. What we liked the most about this hotel was the staff. The people working there were helpful and friendly. I would like to give special thanks to Marcus for making feeding the reindeers and the snowmobile tour much more fun than it could have been. By the way, I couldn't imagine that a snowmobile tour could be so amazing. I would definitely do it again. We are sincerely grateful for the professional and warm service in the restaurant. Dovile gave us a lot of useful advice and told us many interesting things about the hotel and Ivalo. I need to point out that the food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing. I have to admit that this part of our vacation exceeded our expectations for sure. I recommend booking the activities you want before your arrival. We were not able to book the husky safaris because everything was already booked. Fortunately, the staff gave us some contacts, and we booked this activity ourselves at another farm. But just to simplify things, it's better to take care of it in advance. One very useful thing was that the hotel provides really warm outdoor clothes and shoes for free. They sincerely take care of their guests :) That is why we really liked there, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available. Absolutely delicious dinner! Breakfast not quite as fantastic, but still very good (morning shift staff Butz and May were amazing!); the cabin is so cozy and well equipped (panoramic window and views to the forest were magical); excursion options were varied and started from the hotel - lead guide Abraham as well as guide Pedro were super supportive! And yes, Northern lights were visible as well (hotel’s aurora alarm is accurate)!

Villas Karhunpesä beschikt over een eigen sauna en ligt in Saariselka in de regio Lapland. De accommodatie ligt op 26 km van Ivalo en u kunt er gratis privéparkeren. Snelle, duidelijke communicatie. Keuken was voorzien met basis kookbenodigdheden en wat voorraad, heel fijn! Veel wc's en badkamers, vooral fijn met grote groepen. Lekker afgelopen, maar wel prima afstand van Saariselka. Loopafstand circa 25-30 minuten.

I recently stayed at Wilderness Hotel Muotka & Igloos and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Room: My room was an absolute dream. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had every modern comfort you could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was evident in everything. Facilities: The hotel’s facilities were top-notch. I enjoyed the all the activities immensely except for the Husky sled ride. I had breakfast and dinner at the buffet, and the selection was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and varied. Location: The location of the hotel was also perfect. It offered a peaceful retreat away from the bustle. Whether I was walking around or taking a short ride to nearby attractions, everything was within easy reach. Service: What really stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, polite, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay as enjoyable as possible. They anticipated my needs without being intrusive, and I always felt well taken care of. The concierge helped me book fantastic activities, and I was impressed by their local knowledge and suggestions.
