The property is non-smoking and is situated 38 km from Loch Katrine. The Woodside in Doune was our favourite place to stay in all of the UK. It’s a charming little place with comfortable rooms and strong water pressure. The building is newly renovated so everything was clean and modern. They have an excellent restaurant with patio seating and breakfast is complimentary for guests. The menu selection was very good and included all the traditional Scottish fair. The best part for us was the staff. They were all super friendly and gave guest comfort the highest priority.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the boat and the refurbishment. Nothing was any bother at all. The service from pre-check in to check out really was second to none. Rooms were comfortable and didn't have any TVs which was actually a refreshing change. Plenty of plug sockets near the bed. Also very nice to see some Scottish toiletries from Arran Aromatics. Breakfast was delicious (continental) and we used the lounge area in the evening to play Uno with a few refreshments.

The rooms are very clean and well heated! New windows held the design of the old ones. Staff made you feel at home! Breakfast is delicious and more than enough! The location may seem remote from the town, but it is an advantage because the scenery is breathtaking. And when the weather is fine, you can sit outside and enjoy the views.

The overall feeling of the manor was superbe, the staff was super nice. I loved the history and details in the house, I love that it's a part of the experience. I LOVED the floor heating in the bathroom and the little chocolate marshmallow on the bed. I loved he abillity to make tea.

Featuring private parking, the apartment is 800 metres from Edinburgh Castle. The property is 400 metres from the city centre and 500 metres from Royal Mile. We stayed in one bedroom, it's a huge size apartment with a very big bathroom. Great location, 10 minutes walk from the old town. It was very clean. Impeccable kitchen even though we didn't use it. Easy check in using only codes (no physical keys required). Apartment had lifts which is great if you have lots of luggage. Few points: Bath tub was a bit high, could potentially be an issue for children or eldery people TV in the living room is extremely small, suggest they could upgrade to a bigger one for even better experience You will have to do 3 steps down and 3 steps up to get to the lifts. For people with mobility issues could be a challenge.
