House was perfect for us. Comfortable and convenient location. We live near the main station so anyone traveling by public transport would find it easy to get to. Forgot our ice-cream in the fridge and every time we go past I say - "Do you think he's eaten it?" :-) Would def book again.

Το Woodside Lodge είναι σε Thurstaston, σε απόσταση 13 χλμ από Κτήριο Liver, 13 χλμ από Royal Court Theatre και 13 χλμ από Western Approaches Museum. Παρέχει αυλή και δωρεάν WiFi. Before moving abroad, I grew up in this region (Wirral) and so was familiar with the surroundings. With Woodside Lodge as my base, I was able to explore on foot the lively village of Irby. I ventured further to the pretty village of Thurstaston and then along the Wirral Coastal Path to West Kirby. A short walk from Woodside Lodge there is a bus stop for frequent busses over to Liverpool city centre. The host of Woodside Lodge was very welcoming and helpful about local eateries and pubs. In fact, just about everyone I met and spoke to in and around Irby appeared cheerful and friendly. Overall, it felt very good to be "home" again! I will certainly try to stay at Woodside Lodge on my next visit.

It was like home from home, lovely room decor, huge tv, en-suite bathroom was immaculate, the lovely smell as you walk in, toiletries and tea and coffee provided as well as a mini fridge with water and orange juice, I stayed in hotels and not had the quality of stay I’ve had here.

Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Good shower and comfortable bed. Mark the host was very welcoming and made a great breakfast! This is in a perfect location - less then a minute to a fab pub - we had a great roast. There's also a fab Indian a 2 minute walk away. The bus stop is also a minute away which takes you direct to Liverpool city centre and the beach is only a couple of miles away. We would happily stay here again.

Jug and Bottle was a outstanding hotel. We felt very welcomed. Had the best breakfast since leaving home in May. Dinners were outstanding. Thank you.
