Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the island and the lake. Erick was really welcoming, responsive, and attentive to our needs and situation. Always ready to help and give good advice. The place is quiet, nice and has a nice view over Flores Island and the lake. You get to the hotel thanks to a small boat and the ones you take to get there and leave are free (otherwise it's 10Q per person until 10:00pm). Around the hotel there's a viewpoint, a beach and a small archeological site. For the rest you always have to take a small boat. Nice room, hot shower.

The villas on the water are suberb, the hot tub is a huge plus. Service is good, we enjoyed room service. Breakfast was good, but not impressive. The dinner was okay- not perfect.

Staying in the jungle in very comfortable and cozy bungalows. near flores town we also saw a crocodile in its natural environment. they also have a swimming pool and a very good restaurant. highly recommend

There is also a poolside bar and a bar with a pool table. The whole property is so well maintained, absolutely stunning location. Staff were exceptional. Food was delicious. Extremely clean and had an amazing stay. Will definitely come back!
