Staying at Santi Garden was truly a wonderful experience. Robi, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, always there when we needed something, and he made us feel completely at home from the start. The place itself is full of charm, surrounded by lush vegetation, and has easy access to the sea with amazing snorkeling spots just steps away. You can rent scooters directly from Robi or arrange any kind of transport around the island, he makes everything easy. It’s been an absolute pleasure staying here, and I would return without a doubt.

They (and the rest of the staff) took great care of us and were very kind. The snorkelling right off the bay in front of our bungalow was spectacular

Casa Nemo is owned by an Acehnese woman who prioritizes cultivating beautiful experiences and running an ethical, eco-friendly business. The entire resort is beautifully manicured with fruit trees and flowers everywhere. Everything here is done with intention and love. The staff take great pride in their work. Aceh Heritage Village: Right when you walk in, you'll see two beautifully restored historic Acehnese houses featuring hand carved and painted decorations. This is totally unique on the island, and it's a must-see. Sometimes there are events there, so check with the resort to see about the schedule. The restaurant: The restaurant is stunning with an inviting porch that reveals the ocean and the lush landscape. The food is delightful with a mix of Indonesian and Western options. I am gluten free with a sensitive stomach. The restaurant always accommodates my dietary restrictions, and I always feel good after I eat there! If you will be staying awhile, you can even bring your own gluten free flour, and they will prepare something special for you. I love the ayam tangkap (an Acehnese specialty that you can't find many places on the island) and tom yum. The rooms: Every bungalow is done in the traditional Acehnese style with wooden carved decorations. My bungalow had a porch with a hammock which was the perfect place to relax while watching the ocean and listening to the sounds of nature. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and it was easy to control the temperature, which cannot be said of many showers on the island. There was also a fridge and water dispenser in the room including hot water and china cups. The spa: I have had some of the best massages of my life at the spa here. My favorite is the Javanese. Masseuses are expertly trained and accommodating with any issues you may have. Friends of mine have had waxing done with excellent results. The beach: Great for lounging and a gentle swim.

We zouden hier zo weer terugkomen! Prachtig en rustig gelegen huisje met balkon en uitzicht over zee. We hadden het huisje het dichts bij zee en zagen veel IJsvogels vanaf ons balkon. De kamer is ruim en comfortabel met prima bed en warme douche. Het is slechts 3 minuten lopen naar Mama Mia's waar je lekker kunt ontbijten, lunchen en avondeten en 7 minuten lopen naar Scuba Weh waar je goeie snorkels kunt huren. En snorkelen kan voor de deur. Maar naast het terras van Mama Mia's kun je makkelijker de zee in. Heel veel mooie vissen gezien.

Apollo Bungalows bevindt zich in Iboih, op 2,3 km van Iboih Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Woke up to the sound of the ocean and stunning scenery. The area is peaceful, and the host is very kind. However, this is just basic accommodation. no hot shower and no breakfast provided. The view, though, is priceless. Please consider staying here if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, but if you prefer luxury, opt for a 5-star hotel instead.

Lekker een zwembad bij en heel vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars. Lekker ontbijt en lekker eten (vis bbq). Wij en onze kinderen hebben een top tijd beleefd. Ook zijn er grote vleermuizen te spotten die tegen de avond van de berg naar beneden komen en brommers te huren.

The Hawks's Nest Resort First of all I just want to review the place as if it was any other place. The room was really nice, very spacious and with a nice couch and coffee table where our family could sit and relax, the view from either bed or the couch was amazing with the ocean and the very well maintained and beautiful jungle flora in between. It was clean and honestly one of, if not the best place my family and I have ever stayed in South East Asia. Would recommend anyone to go here. Now I want to review the people who made this the best experience we've ever had hands down. The staff was so incredible pleasant and friendly to be around. We had the greatest days here and they made us feel like family. The guys and girls that worked in the restaurant and grounds all had an amazing way of making us feel at home. It was layed back but in a very polite and natural way. It seemed very clear to us that the people working there enjoyed what they were doing and also each others and the guests company. The manager Llya was so nice to be around and she made sure that we had the best possible stay ever. We can never really repay her for her outstanding service and friendly, inviting way of being. Thank you so much for everything Hawk's Nest we hope people will enjoy their stay at least half as much as we did, but really we know they will. Best regards from Denmark 🇩🇰

AAL Homestay in Sabang biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee, een tuin, een privéstrand en een terras. Er is een waterpark en je kunt in de buurt van de lodge uitstekend vissen. It's a quiet place..I really enjoyed my stay.. the staff was nice and very easy to deal with upon check in and check out.. its not too far from town..the room was clean also the bathroom..the owner just cleaned the pool only to give fun to my daughter..really appreciate that..will stay with the same homestay if i come again.

Very nice homestay guesthouse in a local village 50 meters to a nice beach. I was the only tourist in the village, so its an authentic experience. 3 or 4 very basic warangs nearby that have nasi goreng, fried eggs, coffee, etc. Papaya, bananas and sometimes watermellon are available. Comfortable bed, clean and bright room. Free drinking water! Very kind owner who took care of my needs. Let me use her fridge for my fruit, Hot water for coffee, etc. Got me things i needed when she went into town. She has a young boy who is very friendly, and of course a bit noisy but generally very respectful and well behaved. It is village life so sometimes a bit noisy as expected, but not too bad. I highly recommend it and will come back. :)
