This is truly a 5** homestay and the best I stayed in Raja Ampat out of 4 different locations. Fantastic and new bungalows with all facilities, modern shower and clean bathrooms enough for every guest. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere in the whole homestay and woooooowwww, the food is the best I had in all Raja Ampat. Healthy with many options and they can adjust to your needs. But again, the staff and people is what make this place extra special with all their help support advice and offerings they have. You know how people only ever write a review when an experience was either truly bad or exceptionally good. Well, this review will be an exceptionally good one. It was our first time in Raja Ampat, let alone Indonesia. Eddo Homestay was our first accommodation and we had low expectations from what we generally read about accommodations in Raja Ampat and because it was a newly built place with few reviews. However, our expectations were exceeded. The first thing I wanna highlight is the hospitality, kindness and service of all the staff there. I especially want to mention Acho, the guy who manages the Homestay and took care of anything we needed. The first two days we were the only two guests at the Homestay and had the best experiences. Acho personally went snorkeling with us at Yenbuba Jetty, took us to a Sandbank, to Sauwandarek Village and Arborek. He was pretty much our personal guide and we enjoyed every single minute of it. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our "wishes" / requests, no matter what it was about (excursions, food, more data for our sim card, etc.). He would also always sit with us for every meal, talk to us, share about life in Indonesia. It was like hanging out with your older brother. They also tried their best to offer a variety of different foods each day. For breakfast we had toast, fried eggs, pancakes, Nutella, jam, cheese and one day (upon our request) even Avocado. For lunch and dinner it's mostly rice but always with either fish, meat, vegetables, salad, etc. And always delicious. Our highlight were the chocolate chip cornflakes with cold fresh milk though. The cabins were very spacious with a double bed and mosquito net, a couch, a little closet area with hangers and a fan. The bathroom was huuuge and beautifully designed. Each cabin has a terrace with two lounge chairs where we mostly hung out. We had everything we needed. The entire place was very clean, the cabins, the restaurant, everything.

Located in Waisai and only 2.7 km from Waisai Torang Cinta Beach, Raja Ampat Koba-koba Guest House provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Pedro is as nice as a host can be, always paying attention to the details so that we had the best experience we could. The accommodation, although not in the centre of Waisai, is not far and the porch has outstanding views of the bay. Moreover, the bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom is well equipped and the AC brings a luxurious touch compared to some of the other guest houses. In terms of the food, they serve both breakfast and dinner included in the price and they're both varied and delicious. If you want to have a beer watching the sunset, you can also buy them directly from Pedro. Finally, he rents motorbikes and happens to know all the necessary people to make the experience of Waisai truly complete. To sum up, this place exceeded our expectations and we feel that it will be much busier once more reviews will pop up, as he only opened it in August 2025.

The property was built in 2024 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The accommodation features an ATM and private check-in and check-out for guests. Pedro and his family were very lovely and helpful! The room was comfortable, A/C worked great, no "hot" showers but with the outside temperature the "cold" water was so warm anyway that you don't need "hot" water. We didn't realize when booking that the family not only provides breakfast (which was delicious and filling) but also dinner! They catered for vegetarians and made us a vegetarian dinner which was lovely. The views from the deck outside the room are great, perfect place for an evening beer or a game of cards, or just relaxing and reading a book. They have a little fridge where you can store some drinks or snacks, or you can buy beers from them if you'd prefer! The location is a bit out of the way from the main area of town, but they rent scooters if you want to get around, or it's easy to organize an ojek (moto taxi) to get where ever you need to be. There's also a convenience store a short 10-15 minute walk down the hill.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I had an amazing stay at Efenli Arnes Homestay - the location is beautiful, and the staff is so helpful and kind. The reef right outside the homestay was great for snorkeling, and Arnes also took us on a snorkeling tour to Cape Kri and Friwen Wall which were amazing spots. It is a warm and convivial atmosphere with other travelers, I wish I had stayed longer!
