Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook kan de manager allerlei trips voor je regelen als je dat wil. Het hotel regelt ook pick up en/of drop off naar de airport tegen betaling. De prijs/kwaliteit van dit hotel is echt geweldig! Mocht je twijfelen om dit hotel te boeken, twijfel niet, je krijgt echt waar voor je geld!

What a wonderful place to stay and even more wonderful hosts... At first we booked this stay only for one night, so we could reset after a series of flight from Europe and a sleepless night spent at the DEL airport. They welcomed us early in the morning and provided us with a calm room, two large bottles of water and a welcome tea. Since we arrived way earlier than check-in time, our room was not ready for moving in, so they provided us with the back-up room, so we could take a rest. We liked their hospitality so much that we immediately booked two more nights at the Castle Rock, so we could acclimatize properly before continuing our trip in Ladakh. On the next day they moved us over to a bigger room with balcony. Rooms are renovated and equipped with everything a western traveler could wish. They even have a working desk if you wish to stay for a longer period and work from there. The bathroom is large and of course it has 24/7 hot water. They have an in-house restaurant for guests and prepare variety of meals on demand. Even late in the evening. Most of the ingredients come from the garden next to the hotel - you can even see the cook going to the garden to pick vegetables for the meal while you wait. The staff is truly wonderful. The owner is very kind and helpful, but two members of the staff from Darjeeling (don't know their names) really stand out. They are so kind, polite and helpful and really want to make you feel at home. In the end of our Ladakh trip we came back there to stay for two more nights. So in the end, what was the "solution for the first night" ended up being our second home in Leh for five nights. + Well furbished rooms + Very nice garden for relaxation + Helpful and kind staff + In-house restaurant + 24/7 hot water and electricity (back-up generator) + Provide ILP for traveling around Ladakh + Two cute dogs + Market across the street + Located in a relatively calm place, 10 minutes walk from the Leh main market

Words cannot explain how great our stay was! To give you short and sweet: book it book it! Staff is super friendly and communicative. Shabir helped us to plan our itinerary and gave us great recommendations for things to do in Nubra Valley and around. I want to add, it was our honeymoon and they set up our room with a cute decoration, gave us a bottle of Wine . Food at the hotel was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. The room itself was beautiful and amazing. It was private and gave you the feel of being in the forest by yourself. Location is perfect given you are about 10-20 minutes from most attractions and things to do. The Village tour they offer (free) is a must! I would definitely stay here again!

It is a very peaceful area of Leh, near a stream. Rooms are really well maintained and cosy. There are a few restaurants and cafes close to the place. And the owner is really helpful!
