Guesthouse Bitra B&B’s simple rooms have either private or shared bathroom facilities. They provide views of Mount Hekla or the surrounding countryside. Great accommodation, well placed for star trip. Excellent location for northern light chasing. The owners are very cooperative in all means. Very good breakfast in a Cousy and very pleasant dining room. Bottom line: warm recommendation.

I also really enjoyed the authentic barrel sauna every evening, as well as the hot tub/ jacuzzi. The place was spotless and peaceful out in nature. The hosts clearly care about their guests having a good experience. Also appreciated the thoughtful touch of a handbook containing various scenic destinations in the region. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful dining area with a big window. Clean and curated bathroom. Also we had to cancel one of the nights we booked and they were kind enough to give us a full refund even if it was just one day before. I think that if every guest used the kitchen then it might get crowded, but on the night we were there it was just another couple of people, so it was perfect.

It was my dream to sleep in camping car that Baksas Campers make it true♡ The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants in Selfoss. The room was tidy and fresh, and the staff is polite and offer a warm smile. AC ran off when I used hairdryer by mistake but he responded message and call and came in only 3 mins to solve my problems. it was really helpful! It will choose this lovely hotel when I come again in the future
