We arrived in Pizzo on the last (or second-to-last) day of our trip through Calabria, so unfortunately we only stayed for one night. I say unfortunately because, first of all, Pizzo is a truly charming town and worth staying longer, and secondly because the hotel was genuinely excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight home wasn’t until late in the evening, but we were allowed to stay by the pool and in the garden the entire day without any issues. They also arranged transportation to the airport and even let us check out a bit later than usual—all of this despite only staying one night. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced. They serve drinks and food throughout the day in their lovely garden. The location is close enough to both the town center and the beach. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here.

Το ολοκαίνουριο Residence Porto Ulisse βρίσκεται μέσα σε τροπικούς κήπους στη δυτική ακτή της Καλαβρίας. The accommodation was very clean, with housekeeping tidying the rooms every day. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the garden, so it was nicely shaded. The air conditioning was only in the hallway (kitchen), but it managed to cool both bedrooms—though it was necessary to keep the doors to both bedrooms open at night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the bar had good prices. The pool was clean, with stunning views of the sea and, in the distance, the smoking volcano Stromboli. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Tropea. You can also take a taxi or call an Uber. The nearby beaches were clean with excellent water quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay—we didn’t mind, as our children don’t eat much in the morning. For dinner, there was a pizzeria just behind the house, or restaurants in the center of Parghelia or Tropea. It’s a great location for many trips around the area, including excursions to Sicily and Mount Etna (by car). We would definitely like to return next year. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 9 nights. Many thanks to Aldo for the hospitality :)

Very nice location close to the train station, and not far from the Lungomare. Very comfortable bed, and stylish and clean room, Host thought of many small touches, like splitters for the plugs. Although the apartment is shared, my room larger with private bath felt private. Air conditioning was strong, and a nice view over the park.

We stayed our last night before our flight in this accommodation and our flight was early morning and we got breakfast in the package - that was really lovely for us. Communication with the owner was very easy and comfortable. :-)

Extremely supportive family, ready to help and organize anything for you. The place is in the perfect position between the old and new town, allowing to walk everywhere.

Το Leonardo Suites Scilla βρίσκεται σε Scilla και διαθέτει καταλύματα με ιδιωτικά μπαλκόνια. Newly renovated and very clean. The host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend staying here.

Το Xenion Guest House προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους. Had the pleasure of staying here for a week and it was truly so amazing! The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need, including AC which was amazing during the summer. The host is absolutely wonderful and so sweet, she also accommodated our super late check in time. The location is perfect, only a 15 minute walk to the train station. The rooms are also extremely clean. If I ever come back, I will absolutely be staying here!

Το SEASIDE Bed and Breakfast βρίσκεται σε Praia a Mare, σε απόσταση 1,2 χλμ από Παραλία Praia A Mare και 6,6 χλμ από La Secca di Castrocucco. The host was super nice and accommodating from the minute we met, the room was great and had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was good as well
