The Porto Ulisse Residence provides free garage parking with CCTV and is 500 metres from a white sandy beach, which you can reach via the property's free shuttle bus. The accommodation was very clean, with housekeeping tidying the rooms every day. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the garden, so it was nicely shaded. The air conditioning was only in the hallway (kitchen), but it managed to cool both bedrooms—though it was necessary to keep the doors to both bedrooms open at night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the bar had good prices. The pool was clean, with stunning views of the sea and, in the distance, the smoking volcano Stromboli. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Tropea. You can also take a taxi or call an Uber. The nearby beaches were clean with excellent water quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay—we didn’t mind, as our children don’t eat much in the morning. For dinner, there was a pizzeria just behind the house, or restaurants in the center of Parghelia or Tropea. It’s a great location for many trips around the area, including excursions to Sicily and Mount Etna (by car). We would definitely like to return next year. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 9 nights. Many thanks to Aldo for the hospitality :)

We loved the striking contrast between the ancient doorway leading to a traditional courtyard and then the super modern, top quality interior. The host, Luca, was so kind and helpful. He greeted us warmly, helped with parking and reserved a great restaurant for dinner. The location was ideal, close to the wonderful old town. It really was a special place to stay

With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. There is private parking and the property features an electric vehicle charging station. Amazing property with everything you need. In a beautiful location up the hill and walking distance to so many nice restaurants and cafes. The hosts were amazing, they were very resourceful with recommendations. The room is super clean, comfortable, and dark at night with shutters. Definitely recommend

Offering free WiFi, parking on-site and a garden, the recently renovated property of Xenion Guest House, offers accommodation in Villa San Giovanni, 1.9 km from Lido Le Tartarughe and 14 km from Archaeological Museum - Riace Bronzes. The property features inner courtyard views and is 16 km from Aragonese Castle and 15 km from Lungomare. The guest house has family rooms. The place is very homey and everything was absolutely satisfactory: it was clean, it had all the necessary amenities, the ferry port is just a few blocks away and there are plenty of food options close by. It was one of the highlights among the many places I’ve stayed at over the last weeks and I would absolutely recommend it - great value for your money!
