The lodge is modern, super comfy, and Akira along with the whole team were fantastic. Even though we visited at the end of the season and were the only guests, they made sure we had everything we needed. Every morning, they prepared breakfast just for us, and we absolutely looooved every dish. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic hosts, so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They literally drove us to the slopes every day and picked us up. They even drove us to Nagano to catch the train back to Tokyo at the end of our stay. The accommodation has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is super modern. To get the best from this property, get stuck in and meet the other guests, it's such a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Noise levels drop by 10pm to ensure a peaceful night sleep and the breakfast/ food it's awesome. Thanks for the fabulous welcome to all the staff at Dark Horse.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The shuttle service was very helpful for coming and going from the train station and to various activities. The onsen was clean and relaxing. There was laundry available for use. Games outdoors and indoors. Just amazing.

Apricot Pension is gelegen in Hakuba, op 10 km van skigebied Tsugaike Kogen, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. We had the most amazing stay over Christmas in Apricot Pension. The host and all the staff were so warm, welcoming and accommodating during our stay. The shuttle for the ski field is a 1 minute walk from the hotel and the room was perfect for relaxing in after a day on the slopes with a comfortable bed and a projector for watching movies. The lodge also had a gorgeous fire that was lit each night. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and it was only a 10/15 minute walk to restaurants, bars and shops.

One of the best experiences I have ever had living in such a family running bed and breakfast place. I felt right at home. Nicky and Mary are both welcoming and thoughtful through the whole time. Highly recommended for people who plans to winter skiing or summer hiking around Hakuba area.

The Guest House Japan Hakuba biedt een tuin, een terras, een gemeenschappelijke lounge en gratis WiFi. It’s quite close to the bus station, convenience store and restaurants. Closest to Happo-One resort. They have a shuttle to pick you up from the station and even send you to your resort destination. If you book a rental gear from Central Sports, they will come pick up the gear from the guest house for return. The property staff are such friendly and accommodating people, you’ll feel right at home!

The room and the public spaces were always neat. The staff are pleasant and very accommodating. The general vibe was exceptional, including amongst other guests. I’m a solo female traveler and stayed in the mixed dormitory but I had 0 discomfort. The host runs several shuttles in the mornings to drop off patrons in the morning, so we can then take the town shuttle to get to different ski resorts etc, as well as evening shuttles to pick you up from town and take you back to the guesthouse.

It was close to the train and bus station, the apartment was spacious and very clean. It was lovely to experience traditional Japanese bedroom. They also had a western style bedroom as well. Bathroom was spacious and great water pressure. Kitchen well stocked with cups, mugs, plates etc. Our hosts were amazing, they booked our dinners that we picked out and helped us out with info about the town, and where to get our ski equipment . Plus much more!! The food recommendations were amazing. Wonderful place to stay, very very helpful hosts, lovely back area to play in the snow. Close to a lot of ski resorts. We will definitely come back to stay here. Thanks again for everything, we appreciate it!!
