Yuki-san the owner of the guesthouse is one of the kindest and fun persons I met in Japan. Who cares so much of the well being of his guests. On top of that the guesthouse is so clean and cleaned by him everyday. Whenever you have questions you can ask him and he will help as much as he can. You can enjoy your stay and also if you like you can have nice and interesting talks about many topics with him. I will book this place at my next stay in Kagoshima again. 11 out of 10! Great location, Beautiful landscape from the window In a small village on the north shore of the island. The highlight is the owner Kimika is one of the nicest people I met in Japan. She is very friendly and helpful. She is a calligraphy artist and she gave us a demo. It was fascinating. We had a wonderful time over there thanks to her friendly and generous personality. I highly recommend staying in the special place. It made my experience in Yakushima.
