Oninosanpomichi bevindt zich in Kumano, op 2 minuten lopen van Odomari Beach en 4,7 km van Ubuta Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Just close by the road, next to the bus stop. A little noisy in the daytime but luckily there was not much traffic at night. The house was a little old but very well kept and clean and partly renovated. Just a little disappointed that the toilet were still of the older non automated version. The host treated us to a little cheesecake and juice upon our arrival, and so helpful to send us off to the railway station when we asked for help. The bus timing is rather sparse after 8 in the morning, and there is no bus until the evening. There is a hotel Hotel Nami on the opposite side of the road where you can get food for a decent price, otherwise this area is very quiet aside from the Onigajo cliffs attractions on the opposite side of the road.

The owner is very nice and speak enough English to be well understood! She knows well about what to do around and can help you with the means of transport. The house is very nice and bigger than usual places you can find in Japan. She brought us to the train station on the last day!

Wij waren er veel eerder dan verwacht en via Booking even een berichtje gedaan. al snel kwam er iemand onze kant op en konden we onze bagage achter laten en een fiets te huren. Hier dus de omgeving al vrij vroeg kunnen verkennen dankzij de snelle service.

Heart Hostel and Diner 女性専用Onlyfemale ligt in Ise, op 6,3 km van Ise Jingū-schrijn, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. My favorite hostel of all time. The bed area is so spacious, I’ve never had such a large bed in a hostel. The duvet and bedsheets are so nice that I just want to sleep in longer ~ It’s obvious that the owner has given careful thoughts on how to make the guests’ stay more comfortable- the powder room has large mirror, chairs and one lamp per seat to assist your makeup :) Location is great too - just a few minutes from the train station (north exit!) and the bus station to anywhere you need to go.

Boasting hot spring baths and a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean, Toba International Hotel Shiojitei offers luxurious accommodation in Toba. It is great hotel. Room was big, comfortable, beautiful with big windows and view on the ocean. Exceptionally delicious breakfast and great hot springs. Thank you very much for amazing stay!

Ise Guest House Kazami is gelegen in Ise, op 5,8 km van Ise Jingū-schrijn en 3,5 km van Oharai-machi. Very unusual hostel. So cute. Like a tree house. Very friendly staff. Great set up. Easy to find. Same as photos

Hoshidekan Ryokan (een lid van de Japanse Inn Group) ligt op 500 meter van het treinstation Kintetsu Iseshi en is gevestigd in een houten gebouw uit de jaren 1920. Unique Ryokan style with old typical house style and tatamis rooms, with beautiful inner garden. I highly recommend this place for a unique experience in Japan. Enjoy the peaceful environment during your stay here! There is also a library with some mangas available for reading. Very friendly staff as well!

Nagashima Onsen Villa Kuwana, Family & Group Stay with Private Onsen heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op 22 km van Nippon Gaishi Hall stadion. Absolutely Incredible Stay – Beyond Expectations! Our stay at this onsen house was next level incredible! We were two families travelling together (11 of us in total, with kids aged 3–13), and this home fit us all with ease, comfort and so much space to breathe. Every single detail has been so thoughtfully designed from the layout and functionality to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made it instantly feel like home. The onsen was my absolute favourite part. Pure heaven! Being able to soak and unwind after long days exploring was such a gift, and it quickly became everyone’s nightly ritual. The kids loved the open spaces, the adults loved the calm and comfort, and we all appreciated how effortless everything felt. There was so much room for connection and privacy and you can tell the hosts have really thought of everything to make a stay smooth, relaxing, and memorable. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer as it was that good. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of luxury, functionality and soul-soothing relaxation, this place is it. Perfect location for us with a car and close to great attractions too.
