Excellent price to quality ratio and very well located near the gate while remaining super private. The tents and shared toilets are amazingly clean, which is rare for a budget rented camp. You can see giraffes and zebras from your tent, which is incredible. Best of all has to be the staff - Nelson and the team are always ready to help and very friendly. The food by Chef Nelson is excellent and they’re very flexible to dietary restrictions. All in all, I was very glad I chose this place compared to other expensive lodges.

Olkinyei Mara Tented Camp bevindt zich in Talek met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin en terras. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de lodge gratis toegankelijk. I liked the facility. It was beyond my expectations. Everything was so well managed. Before doing the reservations I was bit hesitant as I was travelling with a toddler but after reaching the facility, I was in awe. It really is an intimate experience and I will surely opt for it if I ever go to safari again

Bijzonder mooie kamp in Brits-koloniale stijl, gelegen naast air strip (geen last van), topservice, deels vernieuwd na overstroming april 2023, prima uitvalsbasis om de Mara te verkennen.

Mara Hilltop heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar in Sekenani. We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

The host was incredibly kind, very helpful, and communicated clearly throughout our visit. The place itself is spotless—clean, tidy, and exactly as described in her listing. The small kitchen had all the necessary kitchenette amenities, though we were unfortunately too tired to cook as we had just arrived from Nakuru. We also appreciated the good security. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would highly recommend it.

The view from the campsite was absolutely beautiful, no Tv just there to enjoy nature and get the full Masai Mara experience. The staff were all so friendly and helpful towards our family giving our children a fun experience also.

Gratis privéparkeren is beschikbaar bij de bed & breakfast.... Joseph and his team were amazing. They make sure that they connect with the ranger to see leopards, cheetahs etc. the lodge was fantastic with a good pressure hot water. There was so much to eat and it was really great. The bed made me sleep longer as usual and the size of the room was perfect. There is also snug protected parking lot if your self-driving like I do. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay longer. It was just so relaxing and I made my big five thanks to Joseph, my tour guide.
