The surrounding gardens were peaceful and beautifully maintained, and the pool was immaculate—truly the cleanest we’ve seen across all our travels in Southeast Asia. We highly recommend Muni Residence to anyone visiting Battambang. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. We truly felt like part of the family.

Savets homestay is outside of the main city of Battembang. It is a very beautiful property and I felt like I was in the jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. His friend drove me around for a half day tour and then we met up later with some other guests. It was a very memorable experience. If you have the chance take it. Kindness, qualty of food and beds. Very good english. A quiet place with lovely bungalows located just at the beginning of the countryside. Battambang is easly reachable by bicycle in 15-20min or in a tultulk / scooter. You can directly rent a scooter at the homestay. They also let use their bicycles for free which is greatly appreciate as there are very nice tour to do around in the countryside. I arrive at 6am and they let me take the room immediately. Beautiful family with who you can exchange very easily. Highly recommended ❤️

The owners were really kind and friendly and Saro even gave me a ride by motorbike to the killing cave up to the mountain and also to see the bats. I was able to use their bicycle for free which was really nice. The breakfast was great and also the dinner that Saro’s wife cooked for me. I warmly recommend staying there for authentic experience of Cambodia!☺️

If you are looking for authentic experience this is your choice in Battambang, the owners and staff were simply great and it felt like being an home guest. Cuisine is excellent and we were also invited to their Christmas Eve dinner next to the pool.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. The food at the cafe was excellent too!

With the conflict going on with Thailand, there are no problems here and we were not worried. The skirmishes are many hours away from here. Our host was so kind and sweet. He had us try a few Cambodian foods that we really liked and did not charge us.
