Nice room with comfortable bed. Quiet location. Very good instant water heater for the shower. They cooked a special chicken biryani for lunch which was delicious. We also had their very good Sri Lankan breakfast. Good value overall.

Beautifully decorated hotel, with one of the most gorgeous bathrooms I have ever seen. Comfortable bed. Very nice staff and boat safari. Good breakfast and dinner. Peaceful and secluded, with all the amenities necessary. Nice pool overlooking the lake + smaller pool.

Whisky Point Resort was absolutely amazing! It was a five star experience from the moment we arrived. The Resort is breathtaking and the privat beach and cabanas are so beautiful and clean. The staff was absolutely exceptional. They were so friendly helpful and professional. We extended the stay because we loved it so much! The Owners are very thoughtful and organise trips for exaple lagoon safari which was great! We are definitely planing on coming again!

Thank you to Mohamed and his family for all the attention they gave us, they spoiled us every day with delicious little treats. Thank you Mohamed for your kindness and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay. We affirm that it was one of our most beautiful encounters of our trip. The hotel is a small haven of peace very well maintained, its fabulous garden puts us in a relaxing atmosphere. 10m from the beach and right next to the best breakfast in Arugam Bay, the location is ideal. The location was great. If you don't want to stay in crowded Arugambay this is the right place for you. You have your own pirvate beach, a little cabana, good food at the restaurant and it is the cleanest hotel we have been in Sri Lanka.

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Highly recommended! A family of five. We had the most wonderful time at Stay Golden. Angie and Rihan, the charming couple who owns the place, have created a small microcosmos with everything we needed. Other than going out to surf, we barely left the complex. Rihan gave the kids surfing lessons and pointed the more experienced surfers of our bunch to the right surfing spots. Thank you!

It was a beautiful location. Away from the Arugam Bay crowds. Beautiful beach for surfing. The staff was wonderful and kind. The food was amazing. Every dish I tried was great.
