This was my 3rd visit here - this shows how lovely the place is. Unspoilt natural beauty, both in the jungle and right on the lake. They have their own little deck right on the lagoon. Free kayaks to borrow or you can go on a guided tour. I recommend the jungle walk with Jacqueline - a tranquil way to start the day. The food from the restaurant was exceptional - not a huge menu which is great as everything is freshly prepared.The rooms / cabins are tastefully simple. This is my favourite place to stay in Mexico - in fact probably the whole world!!

Set in Bacalar, Playa Laguna Bacalar Beach Front features a garden, private beach area, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available and the hotel also offers car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We had an amazing two night stay! The beach in front of the property is gorgeous. There are hammocks in the water, swings, kayaks, paddle boards, and chairs in front of the water. The rooms are amazing and so comfortable with Netflix, air con, mini fridge, shower with hot water, etc. One of the best parts is being able to use the scooters to go all over town which is included. The property is out of the town but by having the scooters, it makes it easy to go into town. The property is super clean and the workers are very nice. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and includes a sandwich, fruit, and pastry. It's basic but good. You get one coffee pod to make in your room per day which is good. If you want you can purchase more. Each day they also restock your mini fridge with two beers, two waters and two sodas. They also clean your room daily and the property is kept very clean. This was definitely a splurge for us but if you use all of the amenities it can be worth it.

Among the various facilities are a bar and water sports facilities. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. I loved the fact that is right in front of the lagoon! Our room was a bit small, but super clean and comfortable. They have a deck for you to sit and enjoy the amazing view of the lagoon and you can also do some activities like kayaking and swimming without having to go anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and they’re very helpful with local recommendations and tour bookings.

At the hotel all rooms have a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a patio with pool view. The room was clean and spacious. We received fresh towels. There is a small shop nearby for convenience. the property has a lovely garden. The parking area is gated and secure.

I’m a solo traveler from Taiwan. This place is amazing. If you like a quiet and calm atmosphere. Everything is clean. I love the big window in the room. It’s near to the lagoon. They have great service! I was sick but they took care of me so much! I supposed to stay for only 2nights but I extended to 4nights. I love it 😍

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. The hotel and the territory was great. We stayed with a 1 yo baby, who enjoyed the garden and the pool. A comfortable crib was also provided. A great breakfast was freshly made every morning. It’s a bit distant from the city, so make sure you have a car. Overall, highly recommended, will do again.

We loved the architecture, the great chefs and their exquisite cooking, the laguna and all activities around it. Our tree house was just perfection. We enjoyed this place very much. Definitely a highlight during our three weeks Mexico trip
