Located amongst the rocky hills of Gondwana Nature Park, Gondwana Canyon Village offers accommodation within 55 km of Klein Karas. Totally amazing place in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful cottages with hot shower and comfy beds set around a large inner area facing the beautiful main restaurant and lounge, bar areas. So well built, around and including the large boulders, they’re even inside the main building. The food was exceptional, dinners and breakfast both. Staff are so friendly and they light fires in many fireplaces in the main building and outdoor firepit. Thanks to Melencia and the Chef and all the staff,all wonderful . It’s a very beautiful place visually and also close to Fish River Canyon. No trouble for 2wd to access from the main road.

Good place to stay before or after crossing the border. Chalets are clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Wifi worked very well that night but not so much the next morning. Staff at the shop were extremely nice when we checked in. They even made a call for us in Namibia to confirm a reservation. We recommend.

Phyllicia had thought about everything, from cookies to toilet articles, in case if something was forgotten. They were even prepared to pick us from the city after dinner if it was too late to walk back. We had forgotten our water bottles and when informed, since Phyllicia was travelling to Walvis Bay, she broght it with her so that we could pick them in Walvis Bay.

Most beautiful stars, accommodation equipped with everything you need and more. Had the most delicious frozen ready made meals that the host warm up and bring for you, could also buy braaipacks, wood and homemade bread. The hiking trail is such a great extra. Can highly recommend staying here will definitely come again.

Το Canyon Roadhouse Campsite διαθέτει καταλύματα για κάμπινγκ στην περιοχή Karas, κοντά στο Φαράγγι Fish River. Everything! Staff is super kind, the place and decorations are amazing. Such a fun place with lots of details. The campsite is shady and the shower and toilets are sparkly clean. Best spot for stargazing. We chilled at the pool which is very clean, lots of shade and chairs. Food (veggie spud and chicken burger) were yummy. We tried the local Namibian white wine (and took the bt away for the rest of our trip), very tasty. A MUST DO STOP!!!
