Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Perfect location to visit Deadvlei, juts 5 minutes from the main gate. The camp itself is in a gorgeous location with views over the dessert and the nearby mountains, one of the best sunsets I have witnessed. The rooms are spacious, clean and comforatble.

Beautifully kept campsite with private bathroom that has enough hot water every evening for 4 very dusty travellers! The staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially when we arrived after dark due to a luggage mishap.

We were also able to buy meat for a spontaneous braai and received a lot of helpful recommendations for exploring the area. Very well located for visiting Sossusvlei. One of our favorite campsites on our roadtrip.

Το Camp Gecko - PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE; TENTED CAMP AND CAMPSITE παρέχει καταλύματα σε Solitaire με θέα στο βουνό και έχει κήπο, βεράντα και παροχές για μπάρμπεκιου. Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Amazing place. Really nice lodge with a waterhole where you can enjoy your beer watching animals. Around 7pm 3 rinos, springboks, zebras and other animals were all there . Just a few meters from you. Dinner was super delicious. The stuff was really helpful

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Due to low season we were upgraded to Naukluft lodge which is a few hundred meters away from soft camping. Idyllic location in the middle of the desert. Very quiet and peaceful. You can see wild animals wandering around from your balcony. Ground squirrels even come to your balcony and can be hand-fed.Very comfy beds and good meals. Very friendly owners. They even helped us with our car troubles. Overall we had a fantastic stay!

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant. Nice and friendly staff. Nice dinner and breakfast. Very nice rooms with small veranda. Lovely pool. Quiet and calm atmosphere.
