Was very secluded, you had your own area, toilet and shower. We stayed at the ‘pigeonhole’ and it was great. Very well looked after, good all around!

They provide fire to warm up the water for the shower. It has electricity and you can park underneath to have coverage in case of wind. There is a little store and wifi! The owner is really lovely!

Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Amazing, tranquil place to stay. Obviously quite a drive from anywhere else but it’s worth it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast are like meals at home (nothing fancy but straight to the heart).

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. We were staying here for one night only. Nice host, nice location, a lot of different animals and birds coming for food. Good dinner with sunset view

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant. We had an amazing stay at Solitaire Mountain Lodge! The pool was fantastic, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The highlight was definitely the cheetah safari – an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a unique and relaxing getaway!

With the possibility to sleep on your own rooftop and see all the stars, it is unique. The infinity pool with a view into the Namib-Naukluft Park, the sunset game drive, the exceptional food, the superb service of everybody, including our repaired tire - we can only recommend this lodge! We will be back!
