A minimarket is available at the campground. Scenic location, clean and comfortable campsite, very nice management, top communication. We were also able to buy meat for a spontaneous braai and received a lot of helpful recommendations for exploring the area. Very well located for visiting Sossusvlei. One of our favorite campsites on our roadtrip.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. We LOVED staying here. Beautiful location with the petrified dunes as the back drop. The tents were private and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The food was absolutely excellent and the pool was so nice to sit next to during the heat of the day after our Sossusvlei adventures! We wished we could have stayed here longer!

Guests can access the campground via private entrance. Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

From the room, to the service to the food. Everything was flawless. I will be back to stay again

We were staying here for one night only. Nice host, nice location, a lot of different animals and birds coming for food. Good dinner with sunset view
