The communal spirit is at the essence there, you meet travellers from all walks of life. The property owner, Oliver, is a well travelled, very knowledgeable and passionate man and to meet him was a great pleasure. We would definitely stay there again

Strand Apartments heeft een tuin en skiën tot aan de deur, en biedt accommodatie in Kvaloysletta met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de bergen. Gezellig, leuk appartement en een lieve gastvrouw. Door de hevige sneeuwval geraakten we met onze huurauto moeilijk weg maar Mevrouw heeft ons uitstekend geholpen. Jammer dat we slechts voor 1 nacht hadden gereserveerd. Zeker een aanrader!

The house with big windows overlooking the mountains and water was amazing ! It’s also a very good location to see the northern lights, which we saw three times !! We also tried the jacuzzi which was so cozy. Perfect location too, mostly if you have a car to do day trips to the fjords all around. The staff was super nice and in general we absolutely loved our stay there, recommend 200% !

Excellent hotel & loved the sauna. The dinner was absolutely worthwhile & breakfast was delicious. Loved that the location was out of Tromso but not too far.

The host text me that there was a renovation ongoing but it's does not disturb my stay there. The unit was surprisingly very nice setup inside. Everything seem to be very new. The bathroom was sparking clean, water pressure was good.

Clean modern property in peaceful area, easy to drive North a few km to get to a good dark parking area to see aurora (cloud permitting!). Bus-stop very close if you enjoy using the bus. Comfy bed.

The apartment is spacious, enough place for 2 people. The bedroom is rather small, but there's a couch where you can sleep on well. There's a radiator in the living room (but none in the bedroom). With the -20 degrees outside, the inside of apartment was quite cold during the night because the heating was automatically decreased - but at least there were additional blankets to keep warm. The kitchen has most of the essentials, unfortunately, no coffee (which is usually considered essential when renting an apartment). Also some of the stuff (like pan or oven) were quite dirty (burnt food which was not cleaned properly), but plates, glasses etc were ok. There's also a washing machine in the bathroom and it also has heated floor, so in winter it was really nice. And the snowy views from the window were definitely awesome.
