This was the most helpful and forthcoming host I have ever met during my travels in some countries. Super nice guy and helps wherever he can. The room in the hotel are nice and clean. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Some time you can see mountain view, sunrise and sunset seating in the hotel Balcony. We had a wonderful stay in the Aikawa Hotel! All the people of the staff are very friendly and treated us very well. We loved the service all the time (bus terminal pickup, tour organisation, food, help with questions). We also did two tours with the friendly guide Raj. He gave us a lot of informations about the Chitwan Nationalpark and did a very good job by spooting animals in the wild. We saw a lot of Rhinos, deers, birds, crocodiles. We can recommend to book the tours in directly in the hotel! The breakfast and the food in the lunch and dinnertime was delishes. Best food on our Nepal stay so far. For all the guests in future: Stay in this hotel to make your stay unforgettable. We will come back!

Ok, there is no doubt that the location is the best of the best! There is not everyday that you can stay riverside in front of a national reserve (and at such a good price). Stunning sunsets and sunrises everyday! Sounds of nature (birds, etc) everyday, all day! Also, the room was spacious enough and there was always hot water. The staff was helpful and kind. The walking distance to sauraha centre was ok for us (we did it everyday). We extended our stay and really enjoyed our time at Bamby and sauraha in general! Downsides: the mattress of the bed was so hard and i can say it's the only thing missing for the total relaxation. They could have a Pos machine! We are on 2025 and international travellers visit the hotel everyday. Only cash payments may be a problem for some people. They could also have an electric kettle in the rooms, as there is nothing near to at least prepare a coffee or tea. Also, the menu is a bit overpriced compared to sauraha downtown places. Last, but not least, non clients are allowed at the hotel area and usually they make so much noise because I guess they are not in the chilling mood.

What a lovely place to stay!! Sunil, the host, is a delight, as are all the staff here. The value for money is perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer. Sunil helps you with EVERYTHING you need. The food prices are very reasonable. A wonderful place to recharge.

I had a great stay at Tara house, Such amazing kind n generous family running the house Always smiling, helpful, and just offering from the heart That's why i felt home away from home... The room is spacious and clean with hot shower. Good WiFi. I loved the beautiful green cozy garden full of ducks and chickens...so peaceful. The house located in quite area away from.the main street and the noise. Yet it's like 20 min. Walk to the main street of Saurah where many shops,restaurants. There is nearby river like 5 min walk. Almost 30 min. Walk to Saurah bus stop..or you can take a tuktuk for 200 Rupees. It is almost 30min walk to elephant breeding center Just FYI. ..If you love and care about animals, i don't recommend getting a ticket and get into the breeding center itself cuz it's truly a heart breaking seeing the poor mother elephants with their babies in chain just for the sake of the tourists to take photos and have fun.. I felt regret that i made it to the breeding center and had to watch that crime ....i didn't know that was the case Apart from that...the surrounding forest of the breading center is really worth visiting and enjoying the sunset their by the river ... Vikki can book for u Safari tours and also the bus. He arranged private tuktuk ride to 20 thousand lake for 1500 Rupees. And also booked for me the bus to Kathmandu for 900 rupees. The hostel owners are so very kind, they organised my two days trek in the jungle. Expérienced guides make all the difference and we saw so much more animals than othzr tours. They pack you a jungle lunch, speak very well english, are nice and kind,make you part of the family. Great value for money. 110% recommend !!

Hotel Rhinoceros - Homestay is a true gem in the heart of Sauraha! Located right across the street from Chitwan National Park, the homestay is a wonderful place to base yourself for a visit to Chitwan NP. The room are very spacious and there is a great balcony to spend the evening hours. You are right down the street from a variety of restaurants and away from the noise and "hustle and bustle" of the taxis and tuk tuks. And if you're lucky, you can even see a rhino walking down the street or just across in the little forested area. Such a wonderful way to start the morning But the best part of the homestay is Prakash and his amazing family! They are the friendliest people you will ever meet! Every morning Prakash and his dad will be there to meet you and offer so much advice about the town, Chitwan and recommendations on what to see and do. What a wonderful homestay and truly amazing family! I would book over and over again!

This was a fabulous place to stay. The owner does walking safari and this was amazing and we got to see rhino’s. The facilities are basic but the showers are hot. If you are looking for 5 start this is not for you. It js a step back into nature and a beautiful setting. The meals are fantastic and there is an fire pit in the evening to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
