I never rent a place where I have to share a bathroom, but I made an exception. I'm so glad I did! They had three toilet rooms, two with showers. They were extremely clean and spacious. The BEST part of it was that it made us go outside at night and see the beauty. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day, but on a clear night...OMG! The shared kitchen was a HUGE bonus. It was well equipped with a full size refrigerator, oven, stove, and all the utensils necessary to make a fabulous meal. The three cottages are amongst the enormous garden and you feel like you are living in a fairytale! I highly recommend this place and it's so close to the big Kauri trees!

Riverhead Villa is a multi level old home that was moved there from another location. Well preserved and maintained, it was sitting high atop a hill in a beautiful location. Since ding options nearby are non existing, our Hostess prepared a wonderful dinner for all her quests. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was adequate and filling. If you are lo9king for an out of the way place to relax for a few days, Riverhead Villa is great.

Situated in Rawene in the Northland region, Marriners Luxury Guesthouse has a patio and pool views. The property features garden and inner courtyard views. We stayed one night in the larger bungalow with sea views, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Robyn has been so welcoming, lovely and attentive, we immediately felt like home. The bungalow was spacious, exceptionally well-maintained and meticulously clean. We ordered a "room service", a home cooked meal made by Robyn herself, for dinner (including homemade ice cream that was beyond delicious!), and loved every bite of it. Strongly recommend staying here - there's loads to do in the area, and Robyn is the perfect hostess. Thanks for having us!

It’s a lovely well maintained place run with lots of love. The cabins are somehow aged but in an incredible condition- PERFECTLY clean and with enough details to make it feel modern. Very comfortable beds. Jacuzzi with spa towels. Kitchen very well equipped and a cool BBQ area.
