The apartment is so lovely, well decorated and clean. It was a little cold when we went but we had heaters and it was so warm and cosy inside. The view from the balcony is just incredible! The kitchen is well stocked and we could make our own food. The water was hot too. The owner is super nice and we did a tour with him in his car around the mountains which was great. He gave us some umbrellas too as we had rain when we went. The transfers were easy to arrange. Everything was absolutely great and I’d defo go again and would recommend this place! We went with our toddler and he also loved it!

Our bedroom and bathroom were beautiful. We are happy we stayed 2 nights because it takes a while to get to this village. Every evening was a special dinner starting with sitting by the fire with other guests and learning about the village history. That’s a very special way to end the day. All the home cooked food was spectacular. In the morning we loved our private tour to the 3 villages and walking along the terraced gardens. Highly recommend it (they drive). Then we did a hike around the mountain which was really pretty. We stopped by the cafe many times for a delicious juice drink or coffee, with a view of the mountains.

Perched 2000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is an ultra-luxurious resort with views of the Al Hajar Mountains. Amazing views, brilliant facilities, the pictures don't justify the place. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous.
