Fort Guesthouse نُزل القلعة ligt in Masqat, op 14 minuten lopen van Oude Wachttoren, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. The location is perfect for the harbour and waterfront. Whilst close to everything it is so peaceful and quiet. The rooms are beautiful and I loved the shower. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was superb and our host made sure we had everything we could want. Wish we could have stayed longer and would most certainly come back.

This is a delightful resort situated deep in Wadi Al Arbeieen. It's a delightful spot to relax, to take walks, go swimming, ride a bike, and other simple entertainments. It's hard to beat just relaxing under the magnificent sidr tree which is a special feature of the terrace area of this resort. The food is simple but tasty and plentiful. The rooms (16 of them in total) are quite small, but very comfortable and adequate with all the most important provisions. The manager, Shihad, runs an excellent business and is sensitive to the issues that are involved in running a hotel close to a small local village and in an environment of outstanding beauty - but this is his home so he is very caring. I strongly recommend a night here and in the cooler months you could also spend a couple of days here if you just wanted to "chill".

JW Marriott Hotel Muscat ligt in Muscat en is rechtstreeks verbonden met het Conferentie en Expositiecentrum van Oman. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We arrived late but we were upgraded to a bigger room - the baby crib was already there and prepared, and they set up an extra bed fairly quickly and nicely immedietly after being requested, and they also gave us late check-out without being so stingy and pushy about it. The place was also clean and very well-maintained. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, everything worked. We even let our 8 month old crawl in the bedroom, as a testment of how we felt about the cleanliness of the hotel. There was a children's play room, which had a summer camp ongoing, so we left our daughter to play there with a lot of kids for a few hours and it was super safe, engaging, and fantastic for her, absolutely wonderful. Facilities are top notch for the price we paid, including gym, pool, etc, and a great executive lounge at the top floor, which had snacks, fruits, and refreshments. The place felt lively and joyful, it is unfortionate we were staying for only one night.

De mooie inkomhal met de lekkere huisparfum, de pralines op de tafeltjes in de gangen naar de kamers, het vriendelijk personeel, de overheerlijke buffetten (te veel om van elk gerecht te proeven), de koelbox met flesjes water die je gratis meekreeg naar het zwembad/strand, het fruit dat ter verfrissing gratis werd aangeboden in de namiddag aan het zwembad/strand, de prachtige kamer met zeezicht én de toiletartikelen van Salvatore Ferragamo. Het lekker eten in de restaurants was voortreffelijk ! Het kamerpersoneel kwam voor het avondeten nog even checken of we nog iets nodig hadden op de kamer. Dit hotel is een aanrader als je wil verwend worden !

Crowne Plaza Muscat ligt op een klif in het stadscentrum en biedt een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht op de stad en de zee. Super aardig en behulpzaam en meedenkend personeel. Zo kregen we van Munir Bhavesh en Santosh voor vertrek een box waarin we nog wat hapjes voor onderweg mee konden nemen.

Muscat Airport Guesthouse All Private Ensuite Rooms bevindt zich in Masqat, op 17 km van Grote moskee van Sultan Qaboos en 19 km van Oman Avenues Mall. Muhammad was very hospitable. We felt very comfortable. The location is very convenient for getting to the airport. And the accommodation is clean.

Elizabeth is gelegen in Masqat, op 11 km van Royal Opera House Muscat en 12 km van Expositie- en conferentiecentrum Oman International. Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable. Very friendly. View to the sea from the room.
