There is free shuttle service at the property. From the beginning of our stay at La Romantica, Robert was the perfect host. He went out of his way to accommodate our family. Very helpful and informative about the location, things to do, restaurants. My son's favorite was the recommendation of "La Piazza". He loved the Empanadas! My favorite restaurant was the restaurant at Hotel Gerald, excellent. My favorite beach was the beach next to the airport strip, "Playa Galeon". My two children were delighted to be able to go snorkelling with the snorkling equipment Robert provided. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, very much enjoyed the tray of fresh fruit, with cheese and cold cuts variation and of course choice of how you wanted your eggs, it was a great start to our day. It was also lovely to have the golf cart parked outside to door, no hassle with trying to find someplace to rent one. I believe golf cart is the only mode of transport around the small island of Contadora. Thank you again Robert for being the perfect host! Regina, Paul, Molly, & Ryan.

Activities in the surrounding area include snorkeling, fishing, and scenic ocean tours. Located on the best beach of the island (Cacique Beach). The views from the hotel are breathtaking...you have to see them to believe it. The owners are the friendliest and willing to help with anything you need. They pick you up and drop you off at the ferry which is what we took, but I'm sure they will also go get you from the air strip if that is your mode of transport. They gave us great recommendations for other beaches to check out and restaurants. They even gave us a ride on their golf cart to the mini market when we were walking that way. I have no complaints about our stay...we had a wonderful couple of days and are already planning our next visit.

Since we arrived to the island our Host Gabriela was waiting with a big smile. she gave us a tour through the island, showed us the beaches to go, restaurants and stores. She was a great host. The hotel feels like home, the room was better than expected, everything was clean, there was hot water, a fridge in the room, TV, AC and fan, and we have a back door that you could see the forrest and connect with Nature. I love this place and I will come back again for sure.

Some activities that guests can practice while at Casa del Sol are fishing, whale watching, snorkelling, island hopping and visiting the tranquil beaches that are app 500 metres from the property. Towels are provided for free. I had a great stay here. The location was excellent and very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as expected. The food was really good, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place.
