The bed was comfy, the wifi worked perfectly, the shower was hot, and the view of the waterfall was awesome! Location perfect for a day-walk to the falls, and near to some pretty decent restaurants. Hummingbirds in the trees just off the balcony, really quiet, just a slice of bliss!

Staff was excellent - I arrived after a night bus at 7:30am and they let me take a shower and have breakfast, and helped me book a tour basically immediately. The rooftop terrace with all the plants is so nice. Would recommend this place!

The location is perfect, right on the hiking trail to Gocta waterfall, with a beautiful view of the falls from the property. The village is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Mario is an exceptional host — he knows everything about the area and made us feel completely at home. He even made us a delicious homemade pizza with a purple corn crust — everything organic and full of flavor. We saw hummingbirds in the garden and many other beautiful birds around the property. It’s a great spot for bird lovers and nature lovers in general. If you’re coming to Cocachimba, don’t hesitate — Casa de Mario is the perfect place to stay!
