The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

They shared their home, food and community with us and even went out of their way to make us feel special on our honeymoon. The rooms are big, comfortable and have stunning views of the lake. The beds were warm and they even supplied hot water bottles every night. A perfect and memorable way to end our trip in such a beautiful and peaceful location. Thank you Wilson and Lisbeth!

First off, what a magical experience this stay was from the people to the views to the room! Walter and his family really made this stay so special, they are the kindest people ever! From the moment we arrived they treated us with such care and love, Walter’s dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port, Walter took us on a private tour of the Uros Island in the traditional boats, his mom cooked the most wholesome dinner and breakfast for us, his mom also showed us her handmade artesiana, which were all so beautiful and we were able to purchase some to take a piece of them home and support this wonderful family. They made sure we were comfortable at all times, the room was spacious, had a heater for the nighttime, since it gets cold, plenty of blankets, hot showers, spectacular views, what else can you ask for?! They talked to us about their rich culture, which was impressive and it was a gift that they allowed us to take a peak into their everyday life as foreigners were not allowed back then in the Uros. I can not recommend this stay enough!! My husband and I left with our hearts full and a memory we will cherish for a lifetime! THANK YOU Walter, Maria, Sabino and Elena! Mucho amor y bendiciones!

Their hospitality truly made our visit special. The island itself offered a unique blend of comfort and cultural immersion. The island's tranquil atmosphere is perfect for relaxation, and the stunning views of Lake Titicaca at sunrise are breathtaking. Hernan offer us a private guided tour of the islands, where we learned about the fascinating lifestyle and customs of the Uros people and explained to us how the islands are built. The food was another highlight—freshly prepared bread for breakfast and other local dishes that provided a taste of the region's culinary heritage. Overall, my stay on Uros Island was a perfect mix of adventure and serenity, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of Peru. Depending on the season, the weather can be quite cold, but the accommodations come with a heater in the room, hot water and very warm blankets! The local community is accustomed to the colder temperatures, so it’s important to communicate your needs to them. They are very accommodating and will ensure you have a comfortable stay.

The house met all expectations and was truly a place to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts were very kind and gave me a feeling of being welcomed. I can totally see myself coming back and staying for longer.

The most beautiful place to stay. Relaxing on the sun bed and watching the lake. Dinner and breakfast were brought to the lodge. The hosts were amazing. They took me on a trip around the islands in the afternoon, much quieter than the busy touristy mornings. Amazing!

If you're looking for an authentic stay on Lake Titicaca, look no further! They made us a generous dinner when we arrived, gave us hot water bottles to stay warm during the night (we were impressed by our room, great view and plenty of space), breakfast the next morning, and Eddy kindly took us for a little boat tour around the area before our Taquille excursion, and even showed us his new kittens!!! They also kept our luggage for us after we checked out, and both taxis from our bus in Puno to take us to the dock were very punctual.

We loved it all, the people the place it was a wonderful experience. The room was warm and comfortable, very relaxing. Ceaser and Lucy have really worked hard making it such a lovely place with their lovely family, they look after their guests very well, from the very clean, bright, comfortable cosy rooms to the fresh cooking made by Lucy and local tours of their neighbourhood explaining so much of their way of life, which is very interesting. It's another world and very different, but we loved it and watcing the stunning beautiful sunsets every night from our cabin, Very relaxing! Thanks for having us both Ceaser & Lucy!

We enjoy the food, how welcomed we felt by them and all the effort they put to make us feel at home.
