400 metres from General Luna Beach, Araw Boutique is a recently renovated property located in General Luna and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The 4-star homestay features garden views and is 2.6 km from Malinao Beach. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. We loved our stay at Araw and even extended for two more nights. The location is perfect, it’s near the main street with restaurants, supermarkets, ATM and gas station, but still in a quiet area. The place was always kept clean and the common spaces were really nice. Since it’s a newer homestay, there are some minor things to be improved, such as keeping a stock of toilet paper and a drying rack covered from rain, specifically during the wet season. However, the host, John, made a huge difference, he was always very accommodating to our needs, gave us a lot of tips to explore the island (and even a discount for a nice cafe). He also rented cute scooters for a really good price.

He made sure we got everything we needed or requested and even helped us get a motorbike rental within the same hour and sorted an island tour for us. Also the place very well located and lovely breakfast every morning. Seconds away from the beach at Cloud 9 so very convenient and great options for restaurants nearby. Would 100% stay here again!

Ate Elvira and Joseph were the best host of all the places we've been to across the world. They went above and beyond to our questions and treated us like a family! Breakfast and dinner was amazing every time we had it. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The waves were always full and picturesque! The pool was lovely and super convenient because I had brought my family here (2 senior citizens) and wasn't sure if they'd be able to handle balancing in the ocean. The staff was friendly and accommodating as all Filipinos are, and the food was great too! Also, was nice to have wifi in the restaurant and the rooms because my parents didn't buy a local plan.
