The ambiance is 5 out 5 stars. The staff is wonderful. They greet you with a bow and their hands on their chest expressing gratitude, love and sincerity. The facilities, restaurants and even their contracted dive shop (Honu Dive Center) provided excellent service. We will definitely visit Bohol again and stay at this place.

The resort was peaceful, clean, and just steps away from the dive centre — super convenient after long dive days. Rooms were spacious, had strong A/C, and a private balcony for drying gear. Staff were friendly and helpful, and daily cleaning was a plus. Haka’s team were professional, responsive, and helped us plan the perfect itinerary. Our instructor Andrei was calm, intuitive, and helped me build confidence during my Advanced Open Water course. Diving was smooth, well-organized, and full of marine life. The boat crew took great care of us — even serving fresh fruit and banana bread after dives. A magical dolphin encounter was the cherry on top. The lofts are great and well thought, the decoration is gorgeous as well and everything is spacious. I will come back for sure !

Situated in Panglao, within 700 metres of Dumaluan Beach and 11 km of Hinagdanan Cave, Izla Soanna features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Located around 49 km from Tarsier Conservation Area, the hostel is also 18 km away from Baclayon Church. My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!
