My friends and I just enjoyed one of the best experiences of our life with our stay at Camp Caroli. We stayed in family cabin and it was truly perfect. It was spacious, cozy and comfortable. We especially loved sitting in the living room drinking coffee after a cold day outside. Waking up each morning to an amazing view of the snow, the frozen lake, and the raw wilderness was breathtaking! We experienced many great excursions thanks to Amanda who set everything up for us. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer questions through email or phone. Stefan, our host, was absolutely a super star. He picked us up from the airport, took us grocery shopping, and drove us to all of our excursions which included dog sledding, the ice hotel, and our quest to find the perfect spot to view the northern lights! He was very accommodating for all of our needs during our stay. This was a dream vacation come true for us! Camp Caroli and Stefan made our bucket list dreams come true! Thank you for an amazing adventure!!

The cabin was so well thought out, cosy and perfect for northern light watching! The high up electric bed was fab and super comfy. Cecilia came to greet us and was lovely and welcoming, she has two very happy dogs too! I would recommend this place to anyone, it was excellent value for money and one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

Ronnie and Samantha, the owners, went out of their way to pick us up and ensure we got back safely. Their kindness and the helpful advices we received throughout our stay made us feel genuinely cared for. The location of the hotel is perfect for witnessing the mesmerizing northern lights. It was a breathtaking experience that made our New Year incredibly special—a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. I had a very pleasant stay in Överkalix. What was supposed to be only a stop on my drive back to Finland from Norway, really turned into a surprisingly relaxing and beautiful time. The interior of the place is lovely and the hosts very, very nice! Totally recommend!
