Ronnie and Samantha, the owners, went out of their way to pick us up and ensure we got back safely. Their kindness and the helpful advices we received throughout our stay made us feel genuinely cared for. The location of the hotel is perfect for witnessing the mesmerizing northern lights. It was a breathtaking experience that made our New Year incredibly special—a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. The place has a very beautiful view with an accommodation that is carefully thought through and provided for all that we needed. Martin and family have been very welcoming and helpful, taking care of our family for the period in all we needed

Laplanders rooms ligt in Kiruna, op 6,3 km van LKAB Visitor Centre, 39 km van Esrange Space Center, en 4,1 km van Kiruna Folkets Hus. Als je de locatie eenmaal gevonden hebt dan is het prima. Gloednieuw gebouw, hele nette kamers, gedeelde douches en toiletten. Een hele nette keuken die ook dient als woonkamer, je kunt er prima zelf koken. Locatie is alleen lopend te bereiken vanaf het centrum, ongeveer 20 minuten.

Holy Motors camp ligt in Kvikkjokk, en heeft een gedeelde lounge, een skiën tot aan de deur en een een barbecue. Zeer aangename host. Gezellig en comfortabel huis! Goed ontbijt.

Camp Caroli Mini lodge is gelegen in Kiruna, op 21 km van Kiruna Bus Station, 21 km van Esrange Space Center, en 24 km van LKAB Visitor Centre. We stayed at the mini lodge for a couple of nights in late September. The place is quite cozy and convenient. The best feature of it - by far - is the view. Right in front of the lake, with only a thin line of trees. We got some pretty good views of the aurora from inside the cabin. The attached picture was taken from inside (using a tripod of course). You can literally catch the aurora while seating on the couch or on the armchair! Relatively secluded as well, as it is located at the end of the road.
