Owner seems to be a car- and rallye- lover :) It was the perfect place to end our Road-Trip in Slovenia and relax for 2 days.

The hostess really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The small café, which also serves as the breakfast room, is a very cozy lounge area. It's ideal if you want to do a little work in the evening or just sit and enjoy a glass of wine. But Hisa Poljana isn't just a good place to stay when you're passing through. It is also a great place to spend a few days in peace and relaxation. There are plenty of activities on offer. The hostess herself also offers a variety of courses (e.g., pottery, Advent wreath making), and there is plenty to do in the beautiful surroundings. So far, few tourists come to this part of Slovenia, and as a visitor, you are something of a rarity. The room was spotlessly clean, pleasantly heated, and quiet, as the noise from the main road decreases significantly at night. The breakfast is lovingly prepared and the coffee tastes natural (the house is also a café). In the morning, you can look out of the café's window at the mist-covered forests of the valley and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is always tasteful music playing.

We only are sad that we couldn't stay longer, so next time we will at least have 2 or 3 nights. Very human and warm welcome by Peter, who is such a lovely person ! The room is EXTRA : Clean, well equiped, beautiful and calm, don't worry about the noise ! There is none ! The breakfast ? Fabulous, local products, I can only recommand to try their Peppadew which are delicious ! And the breads ! Wow ! The woman who bring us our coffee and plates (very smiling and she was blond with short hair, is such a kind person)

The owner and the staff are really nice and helpful. Top location which is easily accessible but surounded with nature. The room was clean and it had everything we needed for our stay. The property features barbecue facilities, shared lounge and parking on-site among other facilities. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with PS3. The bed and breakfast features garden views, an outdoor fireplace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. It’s a perfect location and they helped me figure out how to rent a mountain bike etc.

We really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming.
