The breakfast was excellent and generous. Ptuj makes a great base to explore the surrounding area. The wine grown in the area is also very good. Now, what makes this much more than just a comfortable and lovely B&B to stay at, is host Andrej, who went out of his way to make us feel at home and who despite leading a very busy life as "chief priest" took a lot of time to chat to us, show us his amazing clock tower and the beautiful church and gave us some great tips on what to see and where to go walking with the dog. He speaks perfect German and also English. He manages to be very discreet but always available at the same time. We loved our stay in Ptuj and thoroughly recommentd a stay at Sobe Prostija to anyone passing through. There is a lot to see and do, so three nights were definitely not enough. I hope we can come back some time. Thank you so much, Andrej and team for a fabulous stay!

Friendliness and politeness of the lady that welcomed us, despite the error I did while booking. We arrived one day before the booking and well after the check-in time, but the room was ready and it has been given to us, first the single night we spent there. The place is exceptionally quiet, the position is great, it's clean and the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had during my stays. The products are almost all self grown or made. The city is at walking distance among the greens and the panorama is gorgeous!

The property also has a fast-charging (22 kW) station for electrical vehicles. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. A more than excellent breakfast. There is a Michlin rated restaurant and terrace overlooking the river.

It offers a restaurant with a covered terrace, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Really great spacious family apartments! The hosts really friendly! They gave us some snacks and bottled water for our trip as a gift! Great breakfast! Sadly we didn't taste the pizza they are offering in restaurant area.

A children’s playground and free private parking are available on site. The Maribor East motorway exit is just 1 km away, and the Pohorje ski area is a 10-minute drive away. A lovely place held by very nice people. We had a perfect family room, two big separate bedrooms, a big enough bathroom with a spacious shower. The garden, minigolf and playground were a great surprise.

Beyond the immediate surroundings, you can easily visit the charming city of Maribor, nearby waterfalls, and other scenic attractions in the Pohorje region. A perfect blend of comfort, nature, and local culture—highly recommended!
