Situated in the heart of Triglav National Park in Ribčev Laz, Hotel Gasperin Bohinj is 250 metres away from Bohinj Lake. It offers Bed & Breakfast, en-suite rooms with satellite TV and fridges. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and welcoming. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the lake, restaurants, and a local store. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful; upon our arrival, they provided us with a map and fantastic suggestions for places to visit during our stay. Breakfast was varied, beautifully arranged with great attention to detail, and absolutely delicious. A truly wonderful experience!

There's everything you need for cooking. This is our second time staying here because we really like the place and the hotel. It's great both in winter and summer.

Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view. Good location , nice staff ,convenience ,good breakfast and the restaurant is very good

We enjoyed the underfloor heating that made the temperature in the room so comfortable (we visited mid April, but we caught a cold front with some snow even). Perfect location, near the river, very quiet and pastoral with a walking trail near by. The owners were very friendly and helpful before and during the stay, and they also provide paragliding experience, which my teenagers did and enjoyed a lot.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all! I wanted to be up on the mountain and enjoy some peace with great views. It had that. I was able to start hiking right away in the morning. The chalet provides that old school Slovenian ski chalet vibe. It’s a great way to connect with others there including local Slovenians and the guests, or if you want to go on your own and have quiet, that is possible too. They were also able to accommodate my vegetarian requests. Each room has its own bathroom.

From serene natural views to thoughtful details in every corner, it struck that perfect balance of cozy and modern. Everything was spotless, intuitive, and well-appointed—no clutter, just calm. The host was exceptional: welcoming, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure my partner and I had a seamless stay. From helpful tips to a smooth check-in, every interaction was gracious and efficient. Whether you're looking for a restorative solo escape, a quiet creative space, or a home base to explore the area—this place delivers. Highly recommend.

We cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay here with Jure. The room was spacious and comfortable. Spotlessly clean and very naturally lit. The location was unbeatable because it's 10-20 min drive to both lake bled and lake Bohinj and because it’s nestled in the mountains on both sides. It cannot be more idyllic sitting on the terrace every day and bathing in the sun. On top of all of that, Jure was a super friendly and helpful host. He recommended us so many places and restaurants to go to and all of them were great! I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Slovenia.
