People are lovely and you really feel like home. I'm happy we have chosen this place for visiting this nice, typical and non touristy town full of beautiful temples.

There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Outdoor seating is also available at the campground. Elephant View Camp is a great little glamping site. It is run by a very nice couple, who have made this a great project. The tent is immaculately clean? tastefully decorated and super comfortable. The restaurant serves a very nice breakfast and the the dinners we had were outstanding! Great place to stay for 1, 2 or even multiple nights. It is next door to the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand, which definitely merits a visit (you get a discount if you stay here)! Sitting by your own pool, looking at the fireflies and elephants (yes, they do also really pass by your tent) is highly relaxing.

It was a lovely place. Ocean view and long pool were the perfect condition for a family trip.

The quadruple room was perfect for our family. Everything is immaculate and well thought out. Each bed even had it's own reading light and plugs for charging. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, served on the roof with views of the mountains and we enjoyed watching all the monkeys. It was a quiet, convenient and pleasant stay. We also enjoyed a lunch at their small cafe which was tasty.

I really enjoyed my stay at Banthai Guesthouse and in Pretburi in general, and next time I would stay for a few days! The guest house was very cute, and the host was gracious and accommodating. I was able to text to let them know when I would arrive so I could drop my suitcase off, and she gave me a great recommendation for a dinner restaurant. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go (train station, restaurants, Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park) within 30 minutes. Even though the rooms are not AC, I thought the fan kept things plenty cool, and I was very comfortable. They even provided a simple European style breakfast with toast, coffee (instant), tea, and yogurt.

I like to think I give objective and representative reviews to inform others. This is the only stay which I have ever given a 10. The room was large with a big bathroom, large bed and plenty of storage space. It also had a balcony, security safe and mini fridge. The air conditioning is modern quiet and efficient. The area and hotel are very quiet. The owner manages the hotel and is super proactive and helpful as are the staff who work there, all really lovely ladies. The laundry service is very cheap, good and efficient. Beach towels are also provided at no extra charge, an extremely friendly place to stay and for a very good price. If anyone is not happy staying here they would not be happy staying anywhere.

Set in Kaeng Krachan, Baan Maka Nature Lodge offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Offering a garden, the property is located within 5 km of Kaeng Krachan National Park. The property is 9 km from Kaeng Krachan dam lake. We contacted the lodge and they arranged our transportation from our condo in Hua Hin to the lodge. The lodge is beautiful, clean and peaceful with lots of beautiful birds and butterflies.   The lodge arranged Piak, our very knowledgeable guide and the perfect truck as transport to the fabulous National Park.   At the lodge, we enjoyed the challenging trek up to the Viewpoint on their trail.  The lodge also arranged our transport to Bangkok.  So everything was perfectly arranged and convenient for us. We had two nights at the lodge, perfect for us, who are not birders.
