On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

Mr Wang was an excellent host, providing a really enjoyable stay and going above and beyond by offering a really informative tea tasting when we asked about the teas they produced. The rooms were huge, clean and super comfortable. The food (afternoon tea, breakfast and add-on dinner) was freshly-made in-house and really delicious. Location is a 35-40min drive from the main Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, which we found very doable. Can't recommend this stay enough!
